In Granny’s day, mason jars were used for canning. And maybe for storage. Dad would sometimes sneak a few out to the garage to hold nails & the like. However, the uses for Mason jars were fairly limited. Not anymore. Mason Jars are being used to create a variety of dishes from oatmeal to dessert. I know any day now, I’m going to see a Mason Jar restaurant advertised! It’s only a matter of time!
Today, I’m sharing a great recipe from Cooking.com. Martha Tinkler has created a fabulous frittata in a Mason Jar. You can make them ahead, then cook them for dinner. Serve right in the jar. Your family is going to LOVE them! Enjoy!
